The main activity is trekking. Along the tracks (especially,
along the dolmens and transfrontier routes) there are
many different signposts.
You can also ride a horse, play golf, enjoy the natural
swimming pools in Portugal, fish and hunt (big and small
game).
There are many places to visit as Cáceres, Alburquerque,
Alcántara, Portugal (Marvao and Castelo da Vide),
La Campiña and the hamlets: El Pino, Las Casiñas,
La Fontañera, San Pedro, Las Lanchuelas, Las Huertas,
La Aceña, Jola, Alcorneo...
Aldea de Los Gallegos in Portugal was a trade town during
the smuggling time and today it is possible to buy towels,
bedclothes, bottles of wine and the most varied selection
of goods. |
