THE GASTRONOMY
offers caldereta (baby goat stew) and frite (lamb stew), embutidos
(cured ham and sausages)such as fariñera, cominera, patatera,
panera and the Iberian cured ham and sausages. As far as sweet
desserts are concerned the Easter Cake (bollo de Pascua) is eaten
today at any time, but in days gone by the godmother gave it as
a present in Easter Sunday.
There
are many restaurants in the region for a reasonably price.
In
Aceña de la Borrega there are two restaurants: "Casa Antonio", where meals can be
ordered in advance and it is also a grocer's, and "Casa Maria".
